BIO

Simon Bregar (b. 1995) is a multidisciplinary designer working within fields of industrial design, UX design, service design, video and 3d animation.

During his undergraduate industrial design studies in Slovenia he was mainly interested into furniture design. Meanwhile this time period he also participated in Erasmus exchange studies at Lahti insitute of Design in Finland which heavily influenced his design philosophy. During postgraduate studies in Ljubljana he again enrolled into Erasmus exchange studies, this time at industrial design department of Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, Czech Republic. There he was fascinated by their focus on transport design at which the department excelled. At that time he also experienced first Covid-19 lockdown during which he was fully drawn into exploring videography. In this short term he shot, directed and co-directed a series of short films in collaboration with various fine artists from which one was also featured as a part of a GMTF 2021 film festival and was premiered at the Museum of Art and Design, New York and Toyama Museum of Art, Japan. Lately he is focusing on animated CGI and 3d visualizations.

Simon is currently based in Ljubljana, Slovenia and is open for projects.
